12th The Korean Institute of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science(KIEES) Summer Conference 

From August 21 to August 23, 2024, the "12th The Korean Institute of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science(KIEES) Summer Conference" successfully concluded in Pyeongchang, South Korea. 

This symposium served as a platform to explore the expansion of applications and technological innovations in radio wave technology, with approximately 1,600 participants engaging in active academic exchanges. 

In particular, discussions focused on the use of radio waves in the aerospace and national security sectors, as well as the integration of 6G satellite communications and artificial intelligence, in line with the NewSpace era. 

Fifty companies and institutions set up a record 60 exhibition booths, showcasing the latest trends in radio wave technology, while around 700 papers were presented during the academic sessions. 

Through this event, key technologies and research outcomes in the aerospace defense and satellite sectors were reviewed, opening a new chapter in industry-academia-research collaboration. SUNGSAN also participated in this exhibition, sharing information across various research fields with experts from different sectors.
